"I thought, Maybe I’ll never make art again. I just kept going from window to window looking in every direction. But as I looked east or west or south, I started to remember things that had happened to me in different places, because I’ve spent more than 20 years in the city. So I have memories radiating from every sight line in this studio." Artist T. J. Wilcox talks to Interview about the Manhattan views that inspired In the Air.
