We were thrilled to have two marriage proposals in Yayoi Kusama’s Fireflies on the Water last week! Special props to Wendy and Claire (L) from our visitor services department, who did such a great job making sure everything went smoothly. Congratulations to Bridget and Alysha (R) and Ken and Bláz!

A visitor shares her experience in Yayoi Kusama’s “Fireflies on the Water,” currently on view.
A dream day ended in a dream room. Yayoi Kusama’s Firefly room @ the Whitney is a must see.
I never post a personal note, but do you ever find yourself in just the right place at the right time? Standing in the firefly room I found myself aligned with just the right minute, on the right day, with just the right person. It was simply splendid. I hope to never forget that, ever.
